Visitor news...

Lorrie and Ron swung through for an enjoyable evening on their way to Amelia Island to see Clint. We enjoyed some time together around an outdoor fire under the live oaks with some greentini's. Remarkable and refreshing libation! Lots of laughs. Perhaps we will hook up in Carlsbad CA if/when we get to the west coast.

Connie is flying up to snowy Albany tomorrow for some much needed Tina time. Mike arranged the flights. Thank you brother-in-law.

Brian and Anna are expected to stop on their explorations along the Georgia coast in the next few days. Look forward to seeing them. It's been a brutal winter for them in Maine (and not just the weather...)

And Rosie flew home a week ago looking "mahvelous"; coiffed, refreshed, rejuvenated, renewed from her time at "Miss Connie Sue's Health Spa".

Last night Connie's Sisterhood of the Traveling Scissors convened for two trims for Mimi and Shelly. All that practice on Sampson and Delilah has paid off... Anyone need a puppy cup?

Free will can be interpreted as the struggle to self-actualize—to determine who you are as an individual and make the conscious decisions to govern your own life. But, that’s not how society works. We have become too dependent upon each other for our own survival and prosperity that true individualism and free will can and will ever exist. Free will must never exist within a society. The simple cliché too many chiefs and not enough Indians is a clear depiction on how society works. There is a ruling class and a working class. The ruling class is made of a selected few. The working class is everybody else. The best evidence for the pursuit of free will is to be neither the working class nor the ruling class. The ruling class and the working class are a symbiotic relationship. They are ruled by one another. One cannot survive without the other. If the workers don’t work than the rulers will fall. If the rulers fail to lead then the workers will disperse to find new masters. They are one in the same, so to write.

Therefore, the pursuit of free will does not exist within the confines of society but in the outskirts of society. Isolationism is the key to free will. Become totally dependent upon yourself and no ruling class will market your free will. You will be the master of your fate/the captain of your soul. "
